This study provides an overview of self-report responses from the 2022 National Health Survey. This study also included an examination of serological data to determine prevalence estimates of infectious diseases, including Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), and syphilis. Results of the study can be used to inform strategies and public health interventions regarding the incarcerated population’s health needs, and ultimately improve the delivery of care.
