Self-directed course: Harm Reduction Fundamentals: Reducing Harm and Supporting Capacity

CATIE’s Harm Reduction Fundamentals: Reducing Harm and Supporting Capacity course aims to build knowledge of harm reduction for service providers working with people who use drugs (including support workers, outreach workers, nurses, workers with lived and living experience and managers).

This course provides critical information about supporting the health of people who use drugs. Participants will learn about how to support their clients to understand, prevent and address harms related to substance use. This course also offers information and resources to increase the capacity of programs and program managers to deliver effective harm reduction services and support frontline workers.
