Government of Canada's sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBI) action plan 2024-2030

In 2019, the Government of Canada released its Five-Year Action Plan on Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections, which outlined the Government of Canada's role, priorities, actions and commitments for implementing the Pan-Canadian STBBI Framework for Action over five years (2019-2024).

The Government of Canada's renewed 2024-2030 STBBI Action Plan builds on our progress to date and reaffirms our commitment to achieve the World Health Organization (WHO) 2030 global STBBI targets. This renewed plan integrates advances in science and research, focuses on health equity and equity-deserving populations, acknowledges post-pandemic realities, and incorporates stakeholder and partner insights and expertise.
