Prioritizing women in the hepatitis C response
Presented in partnership with the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC).
Presented in English and French with simultaneous interpretation.
Women are an emerging priority population increasingly at risk for hepatitis C due to structural barriers like gender-based violence, stigma and a lack of gender-responsive harm reduction services.
This webinar helps participants better understand the unique risk factors that contribute to hepatitis C health disparities among women. It also explores strategies for addressing gaps in hepatitis C care through gender-responsive interventions, including considerations related to pregnancy and reproductive health.
