Can Ontario eliminate hepatitis C by 2030?

Presented in partnership with the Ontario Hepatitis C Elimination Roadmap.
This webinar presents the latest data on hepatitis C in Ontario, identifies gaps in the province’s elimination efforts and explores strategies that service providers can implement in their work. Experts share insights on best practices and policy directions needed to accelerate progress toward hepatitis C elimination.
To reach elimination, we need to ramp up prevention efforts to reduce new cases of hepatitis C, increase access and availability of testing, as well as encourage more providers to deliver hepatitis C treatment in new care settings. By addressing these gaps and advancing equity-focused solutions for priority populations, we can move closer to the goal of eliminating hepatitis C as a public health threat in Ontario by 2030.
