Facilitated course: Hepatitis C Basics

CATIE’s Hepatitis C Basics course aims to build foundational knowledge of hepatitis C, covering topics such as hepatitis C transmission, testing, treatment and prevention. Participants will also learn about the social and structural factors that lead to certain populations being disproportionately affected by hepatitis C. This course will assist frontline service providers to accurately discuss hepatitis C with their clients and provide support around hepatitis C prevention, testing, treatment and care.

This course is delivered online by a CATIE health educator, providing instruction through a combination of interactive e-learning units, readings, videos, and discussion board assignments. The course culminates in an online meeting where participants can learn and discuss implications for their daily work.

Learners will receive a certificate upon completion of all learning activities.
