The HCV Continuum of Care: Overcoming Barriers to Successful Engagement

Dr. Shruti Mehta is a Professor of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  She received a Master’s in Public Health (1997) and a PhD (2002) in Epidemiology also from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  She is currently the Director of the Infectious Diseases Track in the Department of Epidemiology. Her research focuses on HIV and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection among people who inject drugs (PWID) in the US and in India with a particular interest and focus on identifying and overcoming barriers to access care and treatment for HIV and HCV.
