Links to Other HIV/AIDS Treatment Web Sites BCPWA British Columbia Persons with AIDS Society This site outlines the activities and services of BCPWA. The home page prominently displays Living Positive, a clearly written text which will serve as a useful starting point for people facing the challenges of living with HIV. In addition to basic information about the virus and the treatments used to treat HIV, Living Positive also offers information about dealing with your physician and disclosing your HIV status. For residents of British Columbia, the chapter on Money and Working is a practical outline of the benefit plans available to people living with HIV. The site also offers access to BCPWA’s bimonthly newsletter Living Positive which includes a substantial section on treatment and treatment issues. To view Living Positive, you must have the free Adobe Acrobat software installed on your computer. The site also offers back issues of BCPWA’s former treatment publication TIP News. |
