Watch this webinar to hear how HIV-positive youth manage stigma, disclosure, adherence to treatment, and all the other realities of living with HIV.

This webinar is presented by a number of youth-related organizations and moderated by Sarah Chown, program director at YouthCO (an organization that exists to reduce the impact that HIV and Hep C have on the youth of British Columbia). Speakers include:

  • Sarah Chown, Program Director at YouthCO. She works alongside communities most directly impacted by HIV and Hep C
  • Ahmed Hambré, Youth Director at Canadian AIDS Society
  • Carmen Logie, Assistant Professor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto and an Adjunct Scientist at Women’s College Research Institute. She has active programs of research on internally displaced women and youth, LGBTQ populations, and people living with HIV in Canada and abroad. Carmen will be speaking on the impact of stigma
  • There will also be two poz youth and a nurse who works with young people living with HIV
