CATIE Knowledge Exchange Forum a big success

CATIE’s national forum, The Art and Science of Knowledge Exchange held October 19 and 20 in Toronto, drew more than 200 frontline service providers, researchers, healthcare professionals, community-based health workers and people living with HIV and hepatitis C to hear experts speak about innovative ways of using knowledge exchange (KE) to improve policy and programming. It also afforded a unique opportunity for attendees to share their own experiences in KE and program development.

In addition, CATIE provided a live-stream webcast of all presentations that attracted viewers from across Canada and the United States. CATIE thanks the CIHR Social Research Centre and the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) for the support and assistance they provided in executing all technical aspects of the webcast program.

LIVE recordings of CATIE's forum on The Art & Science of Knowledge Exchange are now available.

The Art and Science of Knowledge Exchange was presented by CATIE in partnership with CIHR Social Research Centre in HIV Prevention, CIHR Centre for REACH in HIV/AIDS, the Interagency Coalition on AIDS and Development (ICAD), and the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN).

Thanks, also, to our funders the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
