1-800 HIV and Hepatitis C Information Support

Have Questions about HIV or hepatitis C? About Prevention or Treatment?

One of the ways CATIE connects with people is by providing a confidential inquiry service. Through a toll-free phone line, individuals can contact us about any concern or question they may have. There is also the option of e-mailing us.

For free and confidential access to reliable, up-to-date HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C information in both French and English, call toll-free in Canada at 1-800-263-1638 or, if you prefer, e-mail us your questions.

CATIE Health Information Educators are available at these times:

Mondays to Thursdays: 10 am - 6 pm (Eastern Time)
Fridays: Closed

Callers can speak to one of our helpful Health Information Educators, each of whom is fully trained and backed by our extensive resource centre. This confidential service provides information on HIV and hepatitis C prevention and treatment, on HIV and hepatitis C medications, complementary therapies, HIV medical and psychological conditions, HIV and hepatitis C co-infections, and living a healthy life while living with HIV and hepatitis C.

We also provide referrals to HIV services and clinical trials across the country. Callers may also request print information packages sent to them confidentially and for free.
