Help us help others by becoming a member

CATIE is your central starting point for information addressing all aspects of HIV and hepatitis C in Canada, in English and in French. Whether you are living with HIV and need information about medication options, you are a healthcare professional who wants to stay up-to-date on advances in research and treatment, or you are a front-line worker designing a prevention program, start at CATIE. If we don’t have an answer, we can connect you with the resources and expertise that exist across Canada. Your membership is free. As a member, you will receive updates from our Executive Director about our work and the new resources we have available. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our governance, and through your participation to share your knowledge and experience and help CATIE in its knowledge exchange work.

Membership benefits

Joining CATIE will give you the right to:

  • nominate members or stand for election to the Board of Directors;
  • vote in the election of our Board;
  • vote at the Annual General Meeting;
  • apply for scholarships, in cases where they are available, to attend CATIE meetings and conferences;
  • receive notice of all annual and special meetings as provided for in the bylaws;
  • receive an annual report on the operations of CATIE as well as annual audited financial statements;
  • Receive periodic updates about new resources.

When you join CATIE, you will also have the opportunity to subscribe to our free online and print resources covering HIV and hepatitis C prevention, treatment, care and support. Print subscriptions are available only in Canada.

Types of Membership

CATIE offers both Individual and Organizational Memberships with all rights and benefits. Organizations are allowed one voting member per organization.
