CATIE 2012 Regional Educational Conferences
Given the enthusiastic feedback on CATIE’s previous Regional Educational Conferences, we are again partnering with local AIDS service organizations and existing events to offer a variety of educational opportunities in 2012.
The 2012 Regional Educational Conferences:
CATIE is partnering with the Manitoba HIV Program to present the Manitoba HIV Conference | CATIE Prairie Educational Conference: Working Together to Address HIV in the Prairies for residents and service providers in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
This year’s agenda presents a comprehensive look into HIV in the Prairies. Experts from Manitoba and Saskatchewan will provide provincial epidemiological updates. The programme will include a full day of HIV Core Training, information about the biology of HIV transmission and what it means for your work, hepatitis C presentations and a workshop on HIV & Aging from the Canadian Working Group on HIV and Rehabilitation. Other topics to be included are point-of-care testing, delivering positive test results and the effective use of social media.
The conference will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba November 5 – 6, 2012.

CATIE partnered with the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia to present the Atlantic Knowledge Exchange and Information Forum (formerly called the Ceilidh) at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 31 – June 1, 2012.
